Daffodil Day – Silken Thomas – Kildare
We joined in with the Silken Thomas, in Kildare Town on Friday 28th March for Daffodil Day in Aid of The Irish Cancer Society. They had a coffee morning as well as a pig on a spit, music and some raffles with some great prizes.
This isn’t the first time that the Silken Thomas opened their doors to daffodil day, last year there was a walk to St. Brigid’s well and a coffee morning afterwards, all to raise money for cancer research, check out the video here
There was so many great people involved in making the day a big success. To every one involved in this years daffodil day, from the passer by who purchased a potted daffodil to the people wearing the daffodil t-shirts, we salute you, your efforts provided for a great day and now you have the memories and these pictures to re tell your story.
A whopping €3,525 was raised at the silken Thomas, well done everybody!
