The Wedding Ceremony of Caroline & Paddy
The weather always plays a leading role for us as photographers on wedding days.
As well as ours, its always on the back of the bride and grooms minds, as a wet or windy day can upset the whole proceedings.
These thoughts were much the same for Caroline and Paddy, but with a bit more concern as their ceremony was planned for out doors.
Thankfully the weather was on our sides and it made for a beautiful ceremony.
Friends and family gathered on the grounds of Ceannt NCO’s Mess to witness Caroline and Paddy say their I do’s.
As well as the beautiful ceremony of marriage, their family joined together to participate in a joining of sands ceremony.
Anyone who knows Paddy Gately, would know that there was going to be some sort of involvement of horses, and after the newly weds made their way down the red carpet, they were greeted by two members of the Irish Defense Forces Equitation School.
After a few pictures with them we headed off for some pictures on the grounds of the officers mess.
Its not every day of the week that a photographer would get an access all areas pass to photograph on The Curragh Camp.
So we made full use of this.
After all this, it was nearly time for dinner and from here the party really kicked off.
There was music from various people and there was a period of open mic as guests took to the stage to entertain.
Even the local Irish dancers were out in force to show case there skills and heated up the dance floor for the crowd to get moving.
To finish off the night from a photo point of view, we had our studio set up to entertain the guests and give everyone that Photo Booth experience!!
Caroline and Paddy, thank you for having us capture your special day.
We wish you all the happiness in the world and hope you enjoy looking back over these photos for a very long time.
